March 2025's Featured Sermon of the Month

An Invitation to Know Christ

For this month’s featured sermon, Pastor Jaime delivered a heartfelt message from Revelation 3:20, where Jesus speaks directly to the heart of every listener:

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

This wasn’t just a call to salvation—it was an invitation to fellowship. Pastor Jaime reminded us that Jesus isn’t looking for a momentary connection; He desires a lasting, personal relationship.

The Savior of the world is standing at the door. Not forcing His way in. Just knocking—waiting for you to respond.

  1. Fellowship is Personal

In ancient times, sharing a meal meant something deeply relational. It symbolized closeness, trust, and acceptance.

When Jesus says He wants to come in and dine with us, He’s not talking about religion—He’s talking about relationship.

But here’s the truth: that door can only be opened from the inside.

  1. Don't Overlook the Treasure

Pastor Jaime shared a powerful illustration of a forgotten painting—neglected, covered in grime, thought to be worthless. But when examined by an expert, its value was undeniable.

Many treat their relationship with Jesus the same way—present, but neglected. Familiar, but undervalued. The truth? He’s the greatest treasure we’ve been given.

But until we open the door, we’ll never experience the full beauty of what He offers. Why So Many Miss the Knock

So what’s keeping us from opening the door?

  • Busyness

  • Distraction

  • Complacency

  • Past wounds

  • Ongoing sin

Whatever the reason, it creates distance between us and the One who wants to be closer than we think.

But here’s the grace of God: He’s still knocking. It's Time to Open the Door

The invitation isn’t just to hear—but to act.

“If any man hear my voice, and open the door…”

Hearing isn’t enough. We must respond. Open the door. Invite Him in. Let Jesus have more than just your Sunday mornings—give Him your heart, your time, your attention.

A Call to Return

Many of us can remember when our hearts burned with passion for Christ—when we were excited about prayer, worship, and the Word.

But somewhere along the way, we drifted.

This message was a call to return. To come back to that first love. To realize that Jesus never moved—we did. And yet, He still knocks.

What Will You Do?

Pastor Jaime closed with a powerful challenge:

  • Have you left Jesus standing outside the door of your heart?

  • Are you allowing distractions to silence His voice?

  • Will you open the door and renew your fellowship with Him today?

“Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you.” (James 4:8)

The invitation is clear. The knock is unmistakable. Will you open the door?
